Chaparral: This flowering evergreen shrub is native to the deserts of the Southwestern United States and northern Mexico and is also called creosote bush. This plant, which was an important native American herb for centuries, produces a sap that prevents competing species from growing near.
The leaves of chaparral contain antimicrobial, antibacterial, antitumorigenic, antiulcerogenic, and anti-inflammatory properties. This herb has been used to relieve eczema, psoriasis, skin rashes, bruises, and respiratory conditions like colds and bronchitis, address STDs and kill parasites.
Steep for tea and combine it with other herbs. You can grind it into powder for capsules.
